Vihn was very nice. The places he took us was enjoyable. The only negative was that we wished he would have talked to us on the bus ride to Hanoi and point out landmarks and history and culture of the area since this was our first time in Vietnam

We were met by the guide Vinh outside the cruise terminal in Halong Bay. He clearly explained the plan for the day and we headed off. Everything was well organised including the tasty lunch at one of the restaurants at the temple. The scope and size of the temple site was amazing. The big disappointment for us was the weather! An amazing tour. We had the entire 50' plus two deck boat to the four of us. Vinh was great. Kayaking included. Food was great.

We wanted to climb to the top and even with taking two cable cars it is still a hike but I am so thrilled that we did! The locals we met were friendly and supportive. They cheered us on! It is a great feeling to make it. However there is no shame in stopping on a lower level and the views and pagodas are wonderful...
