Guide #58358
Hi Everyone my name is Dave H and I Came to Alaska in 1999 a few years after Highschool. Was a commercial fishing Captain for 20 years and have lots of great stories to tell. I've fished and travelled to every corner of Southeast Alaska. Juneau is the Capital of the 49th state of Alaska and there is so much to see and most of the tourists only have about a half a day to do so. We get about 1. 3 million cruise ship passengers a year and another 500, 000 people visit via Ferry, Plane, or Private Vessels. Juneau sits in the heart of the Tongass National forest which is the largest National Forest in America. With a population of only 33, 000 in Juneau and 70, 000 in Southeast Alaska overall you can see how remote the area is. Juneau is the largest capital city for landmass which means in order to see everything you really need to cover ground and thats the tour I'm going to take you on. We will see all the best sites and scenery and show you some Alaskan Wildlife on the way. United States Coast Guard Licensed Captain None

David was outstanding. We really enjoyed the individual tour when there were four other ships in the port! We enjoyed the quiet beauty of Alaska while learning so much about Juneau and the surrounding area. When we moved on to the next port, we wished that we had the option of another local/individual tour! Highly recommend!
David was awesome. We had a wonderful tour of Juneau and never would have found the places we visited on our own.
David was an incredible guide. Very knowledgeable, kind, and fun. This was our first time to visit Juneau. David showed us all the important sites. We finished getting a close look at a young black bear. One of the best guides we have ever had.
