Guide #58358
Hi Everyone my name is Dave H and I Came to Alaska in 1999 a few years after Highschool. Was a commercial fishing Captain for 20 years and have lots of great stories to tell. I've fished and travelled to every corner of Southeast Alaska. Juneau is the Capital of the 49th state of Alaska and there is so much to see and most of the tourists only have about a half a day to do so. We get about 1. 3 million cruise ship passengers a year and another 500, 000 people visit via Ferry, Plane, or Private Vessels. Juneau sits in the heart of the Tongass National forest which is the largest National Forest in America. With a population of only 33, 000 in Juneau and 70, 000 in Southeast Alaska overall you can see how remote the area is. Juneau is the largest capital city for landmass which means in order to see everything you really need to cover ground and thats the tour I'm going to take you on. We will see all the best sites and scenery and show you some Alaskan Wildlife on the way. United States Coast Guard Licensed Captain None

David did a fabulous job. We saw a lot of Juneau and he explained the areas we visited. Picked us up at the cruise port and delivered us to the airport. Vwrt personable person, and very knowledgeable about the area. We all enjoyed our time. Fantastic day! Thanks David

David was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about Juneau and covered the many interesting sites all around the city. He went to extra effort to get us to some of his favorite places that turned out to be the highlights of the trip. You won't go wrong if you schedule with David, we had a great time thanks to his efforts for us!
David was interesting and knew the area well. I would recommend you pick him up
