I’m Allan, and have had the pleasure of calling Juneau home since 2016. Although I grew up in California and Oklahoma as a kid, my parents instilled in me a deep love of travel. That passion has taken me to many states and a few homes, but settling in Juneau feels like the perfect fit, and it's where I live with my wife and daughter. My wife’s family actually has deep roots here — they’re a third-generation Juneau family. Last year, I decided to pursue guiding full time. Previously, I worked as a city ambassador and educator. On my scenic road tours, I love sharing the rich history and beauty of Juneau: from its indigenous roots and mining town origins to its role as Alaska’s capital and its incredible wildlife.
