I’m Allan, and have had the pleasure of calling Juneau home since 2016. Although I grew up in California and Oklahoma as a kid, my parents instilled in me a deep love of travel. That passion has taken me to many states and a few homes, but settling in Juneau feels like the perfect fit, and it's where I live with my wife and daughter. My wife’s family actually has deep roots here — they’re a third-generation Juneau family. Last year, I decided to pursue guiding full time. Previously, I worked as a city ambassador and educator. On my scenic road tours, I love sharing the rich history and beauty of Juneau: from its indigenous roots and mining town origins to its role as Alaska’s capital and its incredible wildlife. Allan was personable, knowledgeable and just a fun guy to have as our tour guide. He took extra time with my husband who was in a wheelchair and made sure he could see all there was. We all came away with getting to know some about Juneau.

We had a few hours before heading to the airport, so we booked this tour. It was excellent!! The Salmon Hatchery was a incredible to see, and we loved seeing the other beautiful spots on this tour. Allen is very knowledgeable about the area and shared a lot of interesting information. Highly recommend!

Excellent tour of Huneau and surrounding scenery. Allan is friendly, knowledgeable and has much insight into local history and culture. I recommend this tour. He also gave us good recommendations for local dining.

Our tour was amazing. We saw Bald Eagles up close, visited a beautiful beach called Eagle Beach State Recreation Area. Very comfortable nice drive to many other historical places. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun to be with.
