I am a sixth generation Montanan who grew up with Yellowstone as my backyard. After traveling around the country playing baseball and working various jobs, all roads have led me back to my hometown of Gardiner, Montana. Exploring Yellowstone has always been my passion and it is an honor to share it with guests from all around the world. Through personal experience in the field and the many wonderful mentors in my life, it will be tough to stump me on anything Yellowstone. Having two days to tour Yellowstone gives you the opportunity to see a majority of what the park has to offer. Especially going with a guide that has hundreds of days touring and countless hours looking to give you a unique perspective of the park! Each tour day will be around 8 hours per day to optimize your time in Yellowstone. On these days we will dive deep into the diversity of Yellowstone. We will be able to cover a majority of the most iconic scenes that Yellowstone has to offer. As a Gardiner local, I have learned to optimize our time in the park for places and animals to see with the time that you have to explore. With two days we will cover both the northern and southern parts of the park which can feel like two different worlds!
Nolan is a fabulous guide and gave us exactly what we were looking for. As first time visitors to Yellowstone, we wanted to see the major attractions, but he also showed us some not-so-known features that were equally impressive. And he seems to know where all the animals hang out. We had a wonderful two days.

Nolan was an amazing guide and took us through Yellowstone in a way we will never forget. He grew up there and honestly, without a guide with the Yellowstone in his blood - it’s not possible to see the wildlife we saw and different breathtaking landmarks in a most efficient and memorable way. Somehow the stars all aligned on our Yellowstone trip, and Nolan was the driver who put us in the right place at the right time. Not many get to see a wolf in Yellowstone, and we saw a whole pack of over a dozen stalking a herd of bison. We also watched a bald eagle grab a smaller bird and watched him have it for lunch. Nolan is a PHD level Yellowstone historian and wildlife photographer, and we got in a month's worth of experiences in 2 days!
Having grown up near Yellowstone, Nolan showed us he knew his way around every trail and site within the park. He knew how to find the animals and how to avoid the crowds. We had an exceptional 2 days with Nolan and we would not hesitate to recommend him or use him again.
Nolan was very knowledgeable and made sure we had an awesome Yellowstone experience. His tour was fun, enjoyable and one I would highly recommend. He was very pleasant and arranged the day most suitable for what we wanted to experience. I'd give him the highest rating possible and would not hesitate to book with him again.
Day One - I will pick you up from the location that we agree upon before the day of the tour. Through the day we will search for wildlife in the areas that they are frequenting during the time of year that you are visiting. We will visit areas such as Mammoth Hot Springs, Petrified Tree, Slough Creek, and Lamar Valley. This tour is dependent on where the wildlife action is the best. Day Two - I will pick you up from the location that we agree upon before the day of the tour. First Stop : Norris Geyser Basin and Porcelain Basin (Will spend up to 25-30 minutes) Next Stop : Artist Paint Pots / Grand Prismatic (30 minutes spent on a loop walk) Last Area visit : Old Faithful Geyser Basin (Up to 1. 5 hours spent in the Basin) All my tours can be customized, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions
