I am a life-long local of Charlottesville, VA. I have tried to move to big cities like San Francisco, New Orleans, even Rome, but Charlottesville kept calling me back. Even when I was living elsewhere, I had close family connections in the area. I am one of a rare bunch - C-Ville locals who also attended the University of Virginia. Actually, I am what you would call a Double Hoo - meaning I graduated from the University twice, once with a BA and once with an MFA. For all of my college career, I worked full time as a waitress at some of the best restaurants in town. There are few options for people with degrees in Art History, so I decided to use mine to become an extraordinary tour guide, first in Rome and other cities in Europe, and now in the major cities of the East Coast. I have been working in the tourism industry for over a decade and am a highly rated tour director and guide with multiple tour operators, both adult and student. With all the other customer service experience I have had, I am confident I will be able to provide an amazing experience for any age group, in any city. But C-Ville will always be home.
