Hi, I am Yasuhiro. Call me Motchee. I am guiding mainly in Hakone, Mt. Fuji, Tokyo, Kamakura, and my local area Shizuoka-Shimizu where you can observe Mt. Fuji clearly. I personally like travelling. So, if you want to go other areas, it is my pleasure to prepare customized tours! My home town Shizuoka has a port named Shimizu, where a lot of large cruise ships visits all the year round. So, about the half of my tours have started from this port. Many tourists from abroad want to see Mt. Fuji. I love to introduce about Mt. Fuji, which is not only a mountain but home to almost all the Japanese people. I have travelled in many foreign countries. In unfamiliar places, I have encountered a lot of kind and heart-warming people who voluntarily guide me to many places where usual travelers wouldn't go to! I really appreciate to their kindness and generosity. So, I wish to be such a kind of person who can be friendly and generous to foreign visitors and tell something different from other guides. For the past decade, the number of tourists from abroad has been rising so amazingly, but almost all the visitors visit some major cities such as Tokyo and Kyoto, which is called a "golden route" in Japan. In Japan, however, there are more attractive places than in Tokyo and Kyoto! Visitors have not noticed the existence or charm of them. Here in Shizuoka, there are a lot of famous and not famous places which should be known more to foreign visitors. In that sense, I want to be a pioneer to introduce the charm of those places and connect them to foreign visitors who willingly want to know about Japan further. I can arrange my tour (including the date and time) flexibly. Especially, cruise passengers are given limited hours in visiting port. I would like to shorten the tour with the same value as the original tour or prolong it if you want it. So, don't hesitate to ask me to make a difference. I want to be a flexible tour guide. I am looking forward to your booking! National Tour Guide-Interpreter Licence (#115) National Tour Conductor I am a professional governmental licensed tour guide for English speaking people. Under the related national law, licensed guides are not allowed to drive cars for the guests. So, I have a drivers' license, I cannot drive a car as guide.

Motchee was an amazing guide. We learned so much from him. His English is excellent, especially since he is a former English teacher. We loved the cable car ride and museum, the views of Mt Fuji and especially the tea plantation. He was able to customize the tour to things we wanted to see. We highly recommend booking him. He was extraordinary and extremely...

This tour was wonderful because of our guide, Mochee (Yashuro) He was a wealth of knowledge and organized everything wonderfully. We missed the long lines because of his knowledge. We saw both old and new. Beautiful views of Mt Fuji and the temple for the first shogun

Hi Debbie, I didn’t realize that the seats smelled so bad. I am really sorry for that. I apologize for the inconvenience instead of the taxi company and report it to the PIC immediately. Regards, Yasuhiro Mochizuki

We had a great excursion with Yasushiro as our guide in Shimizu. He was gracious and friendly, and caring of our wishes. The pine grove and black sand beach were beautiful and peaceful, and the shrine we visited was not crowded, which was a welcomed relief. However, there were some very steep steps to climb up and back. The stop at the tea plantation was informative. The...

it's hard to believe that we could have such a great day with Yasuhiro on an excursion to Mt Fuji. The weather was so bad, we never actually got a glimpse of the mountain. Although it rained cats and dogs all day, our guide nevertheless was able to put together a very informative tour. The tea garden, the waterfalls, the natural heritage visiting center were all very...
