Guide #47514
Hello and welcome to my tours, My name is Chinami and I was born and grow up in Yamanashi prefecture next to Tokyo. I became a National Government licensed guide in 2015. Since then, I have guided a lot of guests from many countries. I like traveling, hiking, eating, as well as talking with people who have different background, but I am also interested in many other things, such as sports, history, customs in different counties. I am patient, friendly, flexible and can handle any situations. Since my family has orchard and produce fruits, like peaches and grapes in the area. Therefore, there are many wineries as well. I also like nature and I hike a lot when I have free time. I am a nature guide in Aokigahara forest, where is well known as "The sea of trees" I have taken students in Japan to not only in the forest, but also 5th station from the bottom of Mt Fuji. I would like you to have very special time with me and make your travel unforgettable. I always try my best and I am very looking forward to guiding you near future. Chinami National Government licensed tour guide. Teacher's license (Geography) Itinerary Manager Qualification I do not have any restrictions. Also, I will be available in Mount Fuji & Yamanashi from May to July only because of my family business. I will use my own car once you arrive in Mt Fuji in Yamanashi, however, I a m afraid that I don't pick you up outside Yamanashi.

Amazing custom trip to Aokigahara - wherein other than the Ice Caves / Wind Caves which are popular touristy attractions - I did spend a good amount of time in the serene and pristine landscapes of "Sea of Trees". With Chinami's help - it was also a great experience to explore a Cave Shrine and some really nice spots of the infamous "Suicide Forest". Added bonus, we...

Dear Paul and Amy Thank you for the review. I appreciated your time to write. I am happy to know that you enjoyed the tour. The weather was not great, however, we could avoid rainy during the tour. Please come back to Mt Fuji area in different season. Take care! Chinami
Chinami shared her deep rooted knowledge of Yamanashi and Shizuoka. She is a licensed guide and her years of experience surely made our day pleasant, convenient and enlightening. We learned so much about the geology of Fuji San, its impact on the five lakes, the cultural respect for its dirties going back centuries and still practiced today. We highly recommend her tour....

If you come after the middle of June, you could try...
We are happy to share the wonderful experience we had with Chinami. She picked us up at the hotel and we drove up to the parking lot starting our Mt. Mitsutoge mountain hike tour. On the way there she explained us much about the area, the geography and the culture. - After a 1.45h hike that let us sweat quite a bit, we reached the mountain top and had a magnificent view...

Thank you so much for the review. Your booking was a last minute, however, I was happy that you enjoyed hiking. We were able to see Mt Fuji clearly. Hiking was not easy in some parts, but we managed to hike to have good views. I am also glad to know that you liked the Kimono museum. Please come back in Autume because the garden has beautiful Autume leaves. Thank you again...
