Guide #45360

Hello, and welcome to Indonesia! My name is Dewa, I was born and raised in Bali. I have been working in the hospitality business since 2011, and my hobbies are hiking and sports in general. I love walking on the rice fields, show guests our irrigation system in Bali, I also love to show the wonderful temples we have in Bali. I like working as a tour guide because this job is fun, and I feel independent in many aspects, I have experience as a tour guide for more than 5 years now, from this job gives me the opportunity to meet new people from other countries. What I also enjoy about this job, is having the chance to improve and practise my English! My village and my favorite place in the world is Ubud, Bali. In Ubud, there is a lot of culture and nature to be discovered, such as Balinese Dancing, rice terraces, wood carving, batik, and Balinese food. The countryside here will make your holiday unforgettable, thanks to the kindness of local people and good traditions. In line with ToursByLocals standards, I will be more than happy to customize all my tours, in case you have specific requests. Greetings from me, Dewa Gede and WELCOME TO BALI! -Driving License -Guiding License None

Today in Bali was our first tour with Tours by Locals — and to be honest, we started the day with some concerns: English proficiency, flexibility, transportation quality, driving safety, and overall experience. Those concerns disappeared almost immediately. If Dewa is the standard for ToursByLocals, we have absolutely nothing to worry about for our next excursions from...

Adnyana D. was a fantastic guide. We used his services in both of our ports in Bali. He listened to what we were hoping to do anbd made it happen. We wanted to see dolphis and he made it happen. Cost of the dolphin and snorkel excursion is not included in the price but it was so worth it. He arranged the excursion stayed with our belongings so they would not get soaked...

What an amazing day. we were picked up at the cruise terminal on time by Adnyana D. He filled us in on history, culture and religion of Bali and he took us to many incredible sites. We started at a Batik factory where we saw the process used to make the cloth. From there, we went to a temple where we saw a folk story told through dance. Considering it was pouring rain, I...

Adnyana Dewa Gede is an excellent guide, attentive to one's interests, and a good conversationalist. He knew that I wanted some quality souvenirs for my family back home and he took me to a unique workshop that made amazing gold and silver jewelry that was a big hit with my loved ones back home. He knew I liked photography and he took me to some very picturesque locals....
