Denpasar is not only seat of official government but also the center of education, economic, industry and Tourism. there are an historical places called Puputan Badung, A big Statue called Bajra Sandhi is built to honor our patriot during the battle until last blood again the dutch colonial in 1906. Now, Denpasar become one of tourist object and must visit during in Bali. Visiting Tohpati village with their famous industry of Batik painting, A miniature of Bali can be seen inside the monument from the first era to the battle time. Traditional market of Kumbasari is become an heritage herb and spices, veggies, meat Market. visiting the traditional market in the morning is suggested

Thank you Putu (and our driver Putu 2) for a lovely tour of Denpasar, prior to our departure. Putu is an amazing and funny guide, who showed us the city as we would never have seen on our own. As tourists, there is always the risk of feeling unsafe - not when you have a local guide. Putu was funny
Putu picked me up from the ferry terminal at 0945 Hrs and retuned me to the terminal at 1600hrs. Visited Jagatnatha Temple, Bali museum, Batik fine art weaving (fabulous place with artisans making the garments in front of you) and then onto the Bandung Market (Pasar meaning market as in Denpasar) selling fresh produce, perishables etc. Putu's Denpasar experience, provided a great insight into Balinese culture and life. We finished off with a fine seafood lunch. Excellent command of English - recommended.
