Guide #14039
Hello, my name is Nick and I am from Ioannina. I have been working in the territory as a tour guide for the last two years and I have the experience needed to drive you in the paths of tradition and local culture. Together we will have the chance to visit historic sites and traditional settlements scattered all around the mountainous terrain of Epirus. During our trip you will also have the chance to taste the local homemade products as well as to engage in the preparation of some recipes under the instruction of experienced and hospitable housewives. I welcome you to the land of myth and history, looking forward to explore together the secrets and the wild beauty of Epirus. I have attended a tour guide training course organised by Ionion University in coordination with the Greek Ministry of Culture and Tourism .I have graduated from the University of Crete (Department of History and Archaeology) and I am a Phd Candidate in the Department of Folklore Studies (University of Ioannina). During the period of my studies I had the chance to engage in various research programmes concerning the local history and culture gaining thus valuable experience.

Very interesting. Tour guide friendly and knowledgeable.
Zagorochoria Full Day Tour - Nikolaos picked us up at our hotel. This was a very good tour of the area and Nikolaos was a very good tour guide.
Nikos is an AMAZING guide!! He found a perfect balance between telling the important and interesting things without going too much into details. He knew how to answer with precision and passion all of our questions. He speaks a very fluent English and has a great contact with people he works with. We strongly recommend his tours!
