Dear travellers,
I am Markéta, an experienced, fully licensed guide born and raised in Prague and as I love guiding and driving at the same time, I would be delighted to drive you to some of the most special places of my beautiful homeland!

During my already quite long guiding career (I passed the guiding exams in 2003), I decided to specialize in private tours, because that is exactly the style of tourism I like the best. We can flexibly personalize every tour according to your needs, interests and pace. Even if you have some mobility problems, with the car we can make it! 

I have lived in Prague for my whole life and as a child, I loved strolling the old Prague's streets, hearing legends about the old Prague from my parents. I started to work as a professional guide after receiving the Official guide of Prague certificate, aged 20… and soon I found out that being a guide in Prague is really great! It's because the city is so beautiful and most people seem to like it :) Later I studied Art history at Masaryk University in Brno.

My hobbies are architecture, music, history, gastronomy, photography, and yes, good Czech beer as well - and of course, my amazing job that includes meeting people from all over the world and sharing our stories.

• and to a short driving tour through the historical centre of Prague and its most beautiful views called Prague after dark

We will use my practical and roomy car, comfortable enough for 4 passengers + driver (me).
I hope you will enjoy even longer transfers in my comfy Volkswagen Sharan, where you can adjust the position of every seat. In the city, you might appreciate a panoramic roof for better views of the architecture around and above.

See the medieval town of Kutna Hora on this 7-hour trip from Prague.
I will pick you up at your desired hotel or location. We will travel by comfortable modern car to explore the 13th-century town known for its silver mines and unique landmarks. Together we will get inside the famous Bone Church, admire the oldest gothic monstrance in the World in the Sedlec Cathedral and the glorious interior of St. Barbara's Cathedral.
Then we'll enjoy a nice lunch in one of the best local restaurants in Kutna Hora and walk through the mediavel Old Town after.
On the walk we will see the former royal silver mine that once manufactured Prague groschen and gold ducats, The Italian Court, King's path, view from the St. Jacob's Church and more:)
After soaking up the history, architecture and culture of this unique town, you'll be driven back to Prague to your hotel or your desired location in Prague.

Kutna Hora Day Tour with a visit to bone Ossuary

At the right bank of the Vltava river we will drive through the cobblestoned streets of the medieval Old Town.

At the New Town, you can learn about our modern history at the symbolic Wenceslas Square. Then we can enjoy the view of the New Town from the Vysehrad fortress and from there, we will go downhill to the river Vltava banks.

As I love architecture, for sure we won't miss the Frank Gehry's Dancing house and other beautiful and majestic buildings on the river banks like National Theatre or Rudolfinum.

Our next stop is going to be the so called Lennon wall and from there we can take a short walk to the Charles Bridge. Then we can check a beautiful view spot at an old monastery up on a hill called Petrin.

The biggest highlight of Prague for sure is the Prague Castle and its St. Vitus'Cathedral is a must see!
