Tour guide in Sibenik Igor I.

Sibenik feels like a big village and I would love to show you this city through my eyes. So nope, I am not your umbrella-wielding guide :) My name is Igor and I have been living in Sibenik region since 2005. I've decided to be tour guide because I've also realized that Dalmatia and especially Sibenik is not yet ready for mass tourism, therefore quite difficult to move around and to appreciate, even for some locals. I am "witnessing" the history of Sibenik region as person from the side. However, like typical Dalmatian I like long sleeping, 'will do tomorrow', slow food, glass of wine before bed-time, 'intense discussion' about soccer players and politics. I love Sibenik, walking in Sibenik, exploring Sibenik, learning about Sibenik and finding out new things and old things, and particularly, I like strange, quirky and slightly odd facts. I am promoting the "slow tourism", allowing you deeper experience, stronger emotional involvement and relaxation. After all, Croatian coast is well known by its slow Mediterranean lifestyle, called "fjaka" (pronounced "fyaka").
