Hello, everyone. I am Conrad - one of Ottawa's most experienced tour guides (over 500 tours with TBL), certainly Ottawa's most reviewed guide. As a home-town boy who has lived here for over 60 years, I can say I am known for clear and correct knowledge of the history of Ottawa and environs. My family has roots here going back over 120 years. Since graduating from the University of Ottawa (BA Hon, History, '78) I have been giving tours for groups, individuals, and for travel companies. Whether you want a small group short walking tour of the downtown area, a car tour, or a full day on a bus, I can give you the most comprehensive, entertaining tour of your entire holiday. Let me show you my home town as only a local could. Giving tours since 1978. Lifetime resident of Ottawa. Education: U of Ottawa, BA (HON) History, '78. Qualified in First Aid and CPR. My calendar may show the whole day as open, but that is deliberate, allowing you to choose a start time in the morning or afternoon. Conrad was an amazing tour guide. He drove us comfortably around Ottawa countryside, visiting everything from quaint villages to beautiful National Park countryside. His knowledge of the area and history cannot be beat. He carefully shared information, stories and insights on the two tours we were with him for. Thank you Conrad for two excellent days. Highly recommended.

We had a terrific day with Conrad. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about Canada and has a good sense of humor. He took us to many picturesque locations. It all added up to a perfect introduction to Ottawa! Highly recommend.

September 2026Thanks, Jim. I had a good time too. The weather was great for photography. Not enough hours in a day though. We could have done Kieweki Point and the NAG again at night.
