I was born and raised in Alaska like my mother before me. I grew up traveling the state with my father as he worked on construction sites as an engineer. I have a B. A. in political science from the University of Alaska and there is little I don't know about Alaska history and culture. I am part Native-Alaskan (some people call them Eskimo) and know much about that part of my family tree. I am proud to be Alaskan and enjoy sharing my knowledge of the Great Land with visitors from all over the world. Quyana (thanks), Ryan B.A. in Political Science from University of Alaska, Anchorage My Ford transit van seats up to 11 passengers (driver not included). It also has room for luggage for those 11.

Everything went well (except the weather - VERY RAINY). Ryan came up with alternative itinerary that our family of 10 enjoyed. He's very personable and happy to tell you about anything and everything Alaska. Got us to the airport in plenty of time for our evening departure.

The van was spacious and comfortable. The scenic route is stunning and the Wildlife Animal Conversation Center was a good visit.

We had a great experience on our transfer tour from Whittier to Anchorage. If you have time between your cruise and the airport or just in Anchorage just book a tour with Ryan. We can not recommend him enough! He was our teacher and guide for half a day and showed us places and gave recommendations that we wouldn't have experienced otherwise. We learned a ton about the area between Whittier and Anchorage and Alaska in general, saw wildlife at the Conservation Center, and outside with Ryan's knowledge of their habitat. We stopped at a great place for lunch, hiked to a waterfall and saw some amazing views. He answered all of our questions- and we had a few! Including: Northern Lights viewing tips. (Sucess!) Bear Spray tips (Didnt have to use, Sucess!) Restaurant recommendations (Success!) and Bigfoot lore! This is the difference in spending time with a local. Highly recommend Ryan!!

Ryan was a great tour guide! It was a great way to end our cruise, getting a private tour on our way to Anchorage. Ryan was very knowledgeable about all things Alaska, and took time to let us explore and take many photos when we wanted to. We highly recommend booking his tour!

This was by far the best way to get from the Whittier cruise port to Anchorage. Our party of 10 with all of our luggage fitted comfortably in Ryan's van. Ryan had various suggestions on where to visit on the way to Anchorage and was open to whatever we wanted to do. Besides the normal stops that all the tour buses seem to stop at, we hiked to a glacier, ate a wonderful lunch in Girdwood, pulled over along the road to see an eagle's nest (Ryan had a high powered telescope that allowed us to see the eagle in the nest), and many other pull offs along the way. Ryan was very knowledgeable on the area and provided interesting facts as we cruised along the Turnagain Arm.
