Born and raised in Northern Minnesota, and have lived in Alaska since 2003. I love to show people new to Alaska the breathtaking views, amazing wildlife, and I enjoy recommending things to do, places to eat, and places to stay. This Private Tour is primarily, but not limited to, a tour for picking up cruise ship passengers who have arrived in Seward to take an exciting and scenic tour of the Seward Highway to Anchorage. This is a customizable tour, usually, we will see Exit Glacier just a few miles north of Seward with an optional short hike to the glacier. We will make a stop at Summit Lake Lodge's cabin for a restroom break and option to buy espresso/coffee drinks, pizza, ice cream, or other food items. It is a beautiful place to take pictures with ducks and geese often seen on the lake. We will then go to the Wildlife Conservation Center for about a 1 hour tour to see Buffalo, Grizzly Bears, Caribou, Black Tail De
We were originally booked with Jason but he had a conflict so Meg was our guide. She was great. She's lived in Alaska for many many years and knows all about the history and other great facts. We really enjoyed being with her our slow trip from Seward to the airport in Anchorage rather than a quick trip and sitting in the airport for many hours before our flight.
The tour guide Jason A. Was very knowledgeable about the area and was very safe on our trip. The only negative was the Alaskan wildlife conservation center which was ok but we were not told about this in advance. There is a fee to enter as we felt obliged to pay since we pulled up to the entrance.
Meg was knowledgeable on the area. The vehicle was clean. She was on time to meet us. Overall the tour met all of our expectations.
This tour and our amazing driver, Jason gets 10 stars from us! Jason prepared an amazing day of tours, information, appropriate stops, and stories. His vehicle was beyond comfortable and clean and he was incredibly professional, courteous, and kind. We will be back to Alaska and certainly call on Jason again!
Jason did a great job, very knowledge about the area, accommodating to our needs. We appreciated the time he took to hit spots along the way and fill the day before our late-night flight.
