Hello!, my name is Michael! I am a very local retired investment advisor. I have lived in Santa Barbara for 43 years and love my city. Over the years I have shown many family and friends around the town to enthusiastic appreciation. I have a 2019 BMW X5 for your touring pleasure. I am originally from Queens New York, having moved to Santa Barbara in 1975 upon completing college. I have a BS in Business management from SUNY Binghamton. I look forward to meeting you! Overview of your Santa Barbara tour
We will start out from your hotel. Going north on the 101 toward Buellton. This is a beautiful drive along the ocean. First stop, Nojoqui falls park and waterfall. This is a ten minute walk through ancient woods to a natural waterfall. It is an old Indian holy place. Continuing on through Buellton, Solvang, Los Olivos. These are lovely old western towns now dominated by wine tasting rooms and restaurants. Lots of shopping as well. This is beautiful country of rolling hills, horses and wineries. Stopping for lunch at Industrial eats or other fabulous restaurant we will continue on to Demetria Winery. You will think you are in Tuscany! Picking up hiway 154 back towards town, we will finish at Cold Springs tavern, a 150 year old former stage coach stop. Now a bar and restaurant! This is a lovely back country loop, enjoyed by generations of visitors!

This is a great and fun out of town loop. - We will head north on 101, heading up towards Buellton. - Get of for Nojoqui fall for a short hike to the falls. - Heading then through the back country and Solvang. . . over to a great lunch place of your choice! - After lunch up behind Los Olivos to Demetria winery. It looks like Tuscany. - After that we will stop at Cold Springs tavern. This is a locals favorite. 150 year old former stage coach stop. Now a bar and restaurant with music on weekends!. . . - Then back to SB!
