Overview of your Galveston tour:

This 8 to 9-hour tour is a combination of three tours. Most people disembark from cruise ships by 9:00 AM. The drive from Galveston to Space Center Houston (SCH) is about 40 minutes. SCH generally does not open until 10:00 AM. Thus, you will have about a: 1. 20-minute tour of Galveston. 2. 40-minute drive from the Galveston Cruise Terminal to SCH. 3. 3-hour tour in Space Center Houston (SCH) tour. 4. 20-minute drive from SCH to downtown Houston. 5. 1-hour lunch in a restaurant of your choice. 6. 3-hour tour of Houston. 7. 20 to 40-minute drive to one of the 2 commercial airports. SCH is sometimes referred to as the Johnson Space Center (JSC), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). It is the second most popular tourist destination in Houston (after shopping) and one of the most popular sites in the nation. Houston is the 4th largest city in the US with lots of tourist sites.
