Being an ardent explorer myself, I greatly enjoy helping others discover new places. I have been an ambassador for Cleveland for over 25 years, serving as an official guide for executives being recruited to the region. My clients come from all over the country and the world. I know this city intimately! I will show you the must-see tourist spots, historical sites, architectural gems, cultural institutions, hip neighborhoods, entertainment districts and dining destinations. I know alleys, back roads and hidden spots. . . I have always customized itineraries depending on a client's interests and needs, and I will happily do that for you. Flexibility is my hallmark! A change in plans, a stop for a photo-op, a snack or pop into a shop - no problem! Originally from NYC, my family moved to Brussels, Belgium when I was 10 - an experience that ignited my passion to see the world. Later, I studied in Paris, France at the Alliance Française. After college, I was able to fulfill my dream of traveling by traversing the globe as a Pan Am flight attendant! My husband's career took us to Dallas, Texas and Richmond, Virginia, although we've been in Cleveland for 30 years now. This is where we raised our daughter, whom we adopted from China. I was a longtime local journalist/photographer and have written extensively about the city. I also work part-time at an art gallery. I like to keep busy! I am civically involved, an active volunteer, a lover of the arts and movies and an architectural buff! Permit me to share my knowledge of the area with you. My goal is to spread my enthusiasm for Cleveland to you! We'll have fun! * Professional Guide for over 25 years * BA in Journalism/PR * Cleveland Civic Leadership Institute 2015 No restrictions

I would like to give you a bit of the lay-of-the-land regarding Cleveland. Centrally located, Chicago, Toronto and Washington DC are just a 6 hour drive away. Cleveland is situated on Lake Erie, part of the Great Lakes, one of the largest bodies of fresh water in the world. Along with a scenic lakefront, the city is bisected by the Cuyahoga River, a major shipping channel that features a vibrant entertainment district along its banks and many miles of bike paths. Needless to say, water sports, boating, sailing, rowing and fishing are very popular. This may be a cursory tour, yet a thorough overview of Cleveland, nonetheless! I will show you what the city is all about: three professional sports teams, industry, banking, entertainment districts, food and Rock 'n Roll (that's right, the phrase was coined here!) You'll see the old and historic - and the new and cutting edge. I'll show you green space and an urban beach. We'll just be scratching the surface, and you'll want to come back!
After I pick you up, we will drive around Downtown Cleveland, including these sites: - Public Square & Arc Lamp - The Arcade (1890 shopping center) - East 4th Pedestrian Street - Playhouse Square - North Coast Harbor: Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, Browns Stadium and Great Lakes Science Center - Warehouse District - residential and dining neighborhood - The Flats - entertainment district along the river - Cleveland Guardians' and Cavaliers' venues ·We'll cross the bridge over the Cuyahoga River into the Ohio City neighborhood. -West Side Market, our historic public food hall (closed Tues & Thurs). - St John's Church, an important last stop on the Underground Railroad. - Edgewater Park & Beach (photo-op at Cleveland script sign) Finally, we will return to our starting point, following the beautiful lakefront. This itinerary could be customized upon request.
