I've lived in Baltimore for pretty much my whole life, with the notable exception of the fours years I spent in college at the University of Central Florida. While I was away, I couldn't stop telling all of my new friends about my hometown, but I never imagined then that one day I'd be able to make a living bragging about Baltimore! For more than 15 years I have owned and operated a tour guide and receptive service encompassing the entire Capital Region. Our customers have included international tour operators, cruise lines, group leaders, educators, travel planners, destination marketing organizations, corporate clients, and large-scale conferences and conventions. Throughout my career I've been a vocal advocate for tourism as past chair of the Baltimore Tourism Association and Maryland Tourism Coalition, and current member of the Maryland Tourism Development Board. I've also taught courses in tourism and hospitality as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. But my true passion is telling Baltimore's remarkable stories. There is so much more to our city than meets the eye. It's a city filled with exciting history, colorful characters, and vibrant culture. From Babe Ruth to Edgar Allan Poe to Frederick Douglass to Francis Scott Key, some of the most iconic and inspirational figures in American history are connected to Baltimore. Our city is innovative, inspirational, entertaining, and definitely unique. I consider it an honor and a privilege to share our stories with guests from around the world. The attractions here, like the Maryland Science Center and the National Aquarium, have been delighting visitors for generations, and now the city is poised to reimagine this waterfront district again. I'll share with you exclusive updates on the latest exciting developments for the future of this iconic part of Baltimore. Just a few blocks away is Fells Point. Beautifully preserved and meticulously maintained, walking on these Belgian Block streets is like turning back time to the era of the patriots and pirates that defended America during the War of 1812.
Chris is an excellent tour guide! Although we had heavy rain for most of our tour, Chris was cheerful and enthusiastic and made it fun for all of us. One of our guests said that she was enjoying the tour so much, she didn't want it to end!

Chris was a great guide. He asked what areas of the city interested us for our 2+ hour walking tour and covered those areas. The information was interesting and his delivery was excellent. There is no doubt that he is passionate about his city. Baltimore is a great spot for history and fun. Chris did a great job pointing both things out to us. I like this city more every time I visit. Learning about it from a professional makes me like it even more.
Chris was wonderful! He came all decked out in his Baltimore Orioles gear and was ready to show off his town. He's got a great personality and is a wealth of Baltimore history, both of the "ye olde" type and more modern. As we asked, he took us to a whole bunch of non-touristy areas areound the Inner Harbor and we learned so much from his extensive knowledge of the city. Great tour, great guide; my husband and I can both heartily recommend Chris for showing you how great Baltimore is.
