Hello, please let me introduce myself. I'm John Mc. I was born and lived most of my life in Edinburgh. I'm a fully qualified taxi driver in Edinburgh with over 20 years experience . I'm a fully accredited tour guide for Edinburgh I have completed the worshipful company of Hackney Carriage Drivers tour course for Edinburgh . I am also an accredited whiskey ambassador. It would be my pleasure to show and tell you the many sites and stories that Edinburgh and Scotland has to offer. I can offer a full range of tours of Edinburgh from 4, 8 and 12 hours. I can also offer a wide range of full day tours outside of Edinburgh from Stirling , St Andrews, The Scottish Borders and Outlander tours along with the Highlands of Scotland. Or I can build a tour that suits your tastes and requirements. I also offer a full range of tours throughout Scotland's whisky regions and distilleries, something completely different. All at your own pace (although I set itineraries up you are in control). So relax and take everything at your pace. I want you to have as much fun as I do on all the tours given. You can tell me what you want and I will make a tour that fits and suits you. All tours are bespoke to each clients requirements. My philosophy is to treat every tour as it is your only chance to visit Scotland. I will make every tour unique for all my customer's. I look forward to seeing you . This tour is steeped in history old and new. We will visit Linlithgow palace birthplace of Mary Queen of Scott's this is a stunning piece of architecture and history. We will visit the kelpies massive sculptures of horses heads. In one word these sculptures are magnificent you will not be disappointed. Along with seeing magnificent historical sight we will also see some of Scotland's finest scenery. As we pass through some of Scotland's lesser known towns and villages. We will see historic Castles hunting lodges and so much more. This is one of my favourite tours as we get to walk in the footsteps of legendary kings and queens of accent Scotland. We will capture some stunning scenic photos from Stirling Castle the Wallace monument. I promise on this tour you will really get a scene of what it would have been like to live in the Scotland's past. You will have fine food and drink and plenty of time for pick up the all important souvenirs. I look forward to meeting you on this tour

This tour is steeped in history old and new. We head for Linlithgow palace birthplace of Mary queen of Scots . This is a stunning place to visit with scenery to match. We then move on to the impressive kelpies these are massive 100 feet tall horses heads designed by Andy scot as a nod to the heavy horses that pull the canal barges. Next is the ancient seat of the kingsof Scotland. Stirling Castle this is one of Scotland's most impressive castles. As we wander around this beautiful castle you will see why it's one of Scotland's finest castles. After this we head to my favourite Castle Doune Castle. This is an ancient hunting lodge used by the kings of Scotland. It has also been used in many films and TV shows Outlander and Monty python's holy Grail to name a few. I promise you won't be disappointed in this Castle. From here we travel a short distance to be stunning Wallace monument. Built in the 1800s this is an impressive monument to one of Scotland's greatest heroes. This tour is a must see .
