Overview of your Salisbury tour

This is the perfect way to experience the history and beauty of the countryside around Bath . We make our first call at Stonehenge, travelling through mysterious Wessex, arriving before the crowds in the early morning. Facts and theories abound at this ancient site, why and how? The most famous prehistoric monument in the world, and now a world heritage site, Stonehenge stands alone in the vast empty tract of Salisbury plain. Its origins date back nearly 5, 000 years and it has been home to pagan religion and spiritual worship. Walking tour of the monument is included. Explore the elegant Georgian City of Bath, famous for its hot springs and Roman Baths. Sample the spring waters, explore the paved passages, narrow streets and quaint shops. Enjoy a scenic drive through the leafy lanes of the Cotswold's using the small country back roads. Visit Lacock. The village is a little known, picturesque village dating back to the Saxon era. Many of the beautiful buildings.
