How would you like to take a trip in my time machine!? Would you like to see two thousand years of history of London from the Romans right up to the present day? I can show you around this amazing city that I was born and brought up in. You will hear about poets and playwrights, Lords and Ladies, politicians and Prime Ministers, Princes, Princesses, Kings and Queens, some with their heads and some without their heads. . . all of this is possible, and so much more! If you're interested in the history of Rock'n'Roll in London, why not go back to the Swinging Sixties with me, and then on to the seventies, eighties or nineties, and back to the present day? The vehicle I use to take my guests on a time-travelling journey is actually a London black cab. These iconic taxis are loved and trusted by London's travelling public and are regularly voted the best in the world. They are a great way of seeing the sights, and are air-conditioned with plenty of leg room. They are also wheelchair-accessible. I have been a London taxi driver since 2006 and a qualified Tour Guide since 2011 - just in time for the London Olympics of 2012, which was a magical time for all of us that experienced it. I love my hometown of London dearly, and nothing gives me more pleasure than to show visitors around what is arguably the world's greatest capital city! But my knowledge of history isn't bound by the borders of London, not by a long stretch. I have been taking my guests for many years to wonderful places such as Oxford, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Bath and the Cotswolds - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, if ever there was one! You can see all of this and more - all from the comfort of an iconic London taxi, driven by a knowledgeable, experienced, affable and personable driver - yours truly! I look forward to seeing you! Licensed London Taxi Driver (Black Cab) since 2006. Member of City of Westminster Guides and Lecturers Association, qualified 2012. Qualified Taxi Tour Guide, since 2011, with the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, accredited by City of London. Associate member of Black Cab Heritage Tours. Member of English Heritage. Member of the National Trust. Member of Historic Royal Palaces. Please note that I do not have a license to guide within St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey or the Tower of London. I can only guide in English.

Embark on an extraordinary journey through time and explore the enigmatic marvels of Stonehenge, Woodhenge, and Avebury. Join me on a captivating taxi tour that will leave you in awe of these ancient and sacred sites. Immerse yourself in the timeless mystery of Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Uncover the secrets behind their creation and purpose as you walk in the footsteps of our neolithic ancestors. Feel the power and energy that emanates from this legendary site! Venture into the lesser-known, yet equally fascinating, Woodhenge. Discover the significance and rituals associated with this ancient timber structure. Let your imagination run wild as you envision the vibrant community that once thrived within these ancient woods. Enter the awe-inspiring realm of Avebury, the largest stone circle in the world. Wander amongst the colossal standing stones, feeling the weight of history upon your shoulders. Unearth the stories of ancient rituals and ceremonies that unfolded within these sacred grounds!
I will pick you up from any central London location, but I can also pick you up from any airport or seaport - please ask for details. We will then head to Woodhenge, an ancient, circular structure, once made of timber and constructed around the same time as nearby Stonehenge. This journey should take approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. It is then just a 10 minute drive to Stonehenge. The ideal time to arrive would be mid-morning. I will personally guide you around the stones, the neolithic village and the exhibition. This should take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. If you start feeling hungry, food is available at the Stonehenge media centre. I also know plenty of lovely traditional country pubs in the area. Our final journey will be to the world's largest stone circle at Avebury and West Kennet Long Barrow. This trip should take approximately 45 minutes. We can spend 90 minutes here. I will then head you back to your preferred destination.

I will drive you around in my Licenced London Black Cab. I am licenced to carry up to 6 passengers, but I would suggest that a maximum of 5 adults would be best.
