In the evening after Stonehenge is closed to the public, or at dawn before it is open, we arrange these exclusive access tours for you. Without the distraction of the crowd, you can truly appreciate the wonder of the UK's greatest prehistoric landmark. Few people can claim to have walked amongst these most ancient stones, as our ancestors did, & to have felt themselves minuscule standing next to the giant sarsen stones towering 6. 4 meters high and weighing up to 50 tonnes. Close encounters with stones endow the wanderer with a true appreciation of the mysteries of our history, but also the scale and majesty of our entire university-especially when the transitioning sky above the monoliths provides the cosmos as the background to one of the world's greatest wonders. Awe inspiring day at Stonehenge! VIP tickets enabled full access within the circle as dawn broke over the stones. This experience far exceeded my already high expectations. We then explored other Neolithic aspects of the Salisbury plain and how they all tied together. We especially enjoyed walking the circumference of Avebury’s outer most circle and marveled at the depth and breadth of its “henge”. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, interesting and personable. A fantastic tour!

Outstanding tour and tour guide! Being in and amongst the stones at sunrise was amazing! We even had a rainbow frame the stones. Will was awesome! Picked us up in London and gave us an awesome history lesson and thoughts on the origin/meaning of the stones on the ride over to Stonehenge. Truly a highlight of our trip to England.

Sorry for my delay in posting my review but WOW WOW WOW!!! This was an amazing private tour - what an opportunity to see Stonehenge up close and personal - and the sunrise was spectacular. I realize you can't always predict the weather, but we were thrilled to have such great luck with clear skies! Nicholas was an amazing guide - funny, helpful and super knowledgable. It was an absolutely gorgeous morning and my husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We didn't do our homework on the temps, so it was a little chillier than we were planning for, but that didn't affect how much we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Nicholas for a fabulous experience!

We originally signed up for an early access tour to go into the inner circle of Stonehenge but English Heritage cancelled three days before the tour! Nicholas was great though!! He moved the time of the tour and took us anyway when it opened! It was still a great tour! Nicholas is so knowledgeable! We learned so much and really were in awe of Stonehenge! Nicholas was also very patient with our 4 year old! Great tour! Highly recommend Nicholas!! I guess we have to come back for the inner circle tour! :)
