Scotland has many treasures to offer - amazing castles and historical buildings, beautiful scenery, spectacular wildlife, wonderful restaurants and a lot of them are in Aberdeenshire. I will take you on a private tour to areas that are as stunning as they are interesting and tell you about the attractions and their history and secrets and arrange a great day out for you whether it be to ancient castles, a distillery or to see famous Highland Cows. I also offer tours across Scotland and will assist you in the creation of a wonderful vacation to see our amazing country from coast to coast. I can create a custom tour to suit your own itinerary. I am a fully bonded member of ABTOT (No. 5419) which provides protection for customers' prepayments. I have many years of experience in Tour Guiding, and I look forward to showing you our lovely land, whether that be for a few hours or over multiple day. Malcolm Duckworth.

A great private tour (your group only) that explores castles, coastal curiosities, caves, Dracula and the opportunity to taste Cullen Skink, in Cullen. Our day starts with one of Scotland’s most impressive castles, Dunnottar, perched on a headland of impregnable rock in the sea. We then head north to an 800-year-old fortress called Fyvie Castle. Lunch is a superb restaurant in the historic coastal town of Cullen. Here you will have the opportunity to try the world-famous Cullen Skink. After lunch it is Bow Fiddle Rock, an outstanding natural feature, then the famous village of Pennan, as seen in the movie “Local Hero”. Then the unique geological feature called the Bullers of Buchan and after the dramatic Slains Castle which famously inspired Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Closer to Aberdeen we visit Newburgh to see the vast wild seal colony that has lived there for centuries. Along the way there may be birds to be watched, dolphins to be spotted and seals to be seen. You can also choose your own itinerary.
