Hi and welcome to Aberdeen! I was born in Kazakhstan and spent many years living in Poland before coming to Scotland. When I arrived in Aberdeen over 20 years ago, I felt like this city will be my home. I find that Aberdeen is very different from other Scottish cities. Some see it as a grey, dull, granite built city, but for me I see it as a city full of history, character, with its own charms, traditions, and local stories. I love travelling, meeting people from different cultures, and discovering local food, and I truly enjoy sharing these passions with my guests. I would be delighted to show you Aberdeen through my own eyes and help you experience the city beyond guidebook facts. I offer walking tours of Old Aberdeen and the city centre, where we explore not only historical facts, but also local legends and stories hidden under it all. I am flexible and happy to customize tours to suit your interests and pace. I do not have my own car, but I do hold a driving license and would be happy to accompany you on journeys around Aberdeenshire and other parts of Scotland, travelling together and discovering the country as locals do.

Discover the history and character of Aberdeen on this guided walking tour through the city’s most iconic streets and sights. We begin at Castlegate, the historic heart of medieval Aberdeen, once the city’s main ceremonial square. From there, we will admire the impressive Marischal College, the second largest granite building in the world and a symbol of the Granite City. The tour continues with the story of Denis Law, Aberdeen-born football legend, before visiting Provost Skene’s House, one of the city’s oldest townhouses, offering insight into Aberdeen’s past merchants and leaders. At St Nicholas Kirk we explore over 800 years of religious history. We will then stop at Aberdeen’s oldest pub, a place rich in tradition and local stories. The tour concludes near Union Street at the William Wallace statue, reflecting Scotland’s national identity and enduring spirit. This tour is an ideal introduction to Aberdeen’s history, culture, and landmarks.
