I am a professional, licensed tour guide authorized by the Ministry of Tourism. I have been in the tourism industry for over 25 years, and I still love it. I love meeting new people from different cultures. I enjoy giving and receiving information, as well as interacting with others. Besides being a licensed tour guide, I am also a certified interpreter. I studied English Language and Literature at university. I am married, and I have two little kids.
My tours are in and around the city of Trabzon, the transportation is via brand new vans with full tourism insurance and certifications (either a Wolskvagen Caravelle or a Mercedes Vito, according to the number of seats needed. Or if the tour is only with one or two visitors, we can hire a car.) If the visitor requests only a city center tour and wants to interact with local people, then we can arrange a walking tour and public transportation.
The City of Trabzon has a lot to offer. During my tours, visitors will be able to explore a rich history from early Christianity, Islam, Byzantine, Persians, Ottoman Era, modern Turkey, and different cultures. We will visit monasteries, old mosques, museums, and lively streets. My city is peaceful, far away from problems. Local people are really tourist-friendly. Last but not least, Trabzon and its neighbourhood offer really tasty dishes that tourists love to try.
I have some fixed programs of my tours, but we can arrange tailor-made tours according to the visitors' needs and time. I offer and guarantee you that we together will decide about every single detail in your travel plan, and you can feel comfortable asking me anything about it.
