My name is Suphote, a fully licensed guided by Tourist Authority of Thailand (TAT license 21- 0388) and have been working as a tour guide and tour leader for over 20 years. Thailand has long been a popular tourist destination, it is hardly avoid tourist in any popular sites. I can take people to a typical tourist site, but preferred to the site that less traveled by tourist more. I love to take my clients to chat with the locals, to share some common and uncommon things in their life. It is truly amazing to see they are laughing together even though they don't understand the language, only translated between them by me. I love to eat and love to cook, showing the variety of Thai food and let my clients try different authentic local cuisine is also one of my favorite, especially if they are adventurous. Overview of your Chiang Mai tour

Visit a well preserved traditional Lanna style temple Wat Ton Kwen, less travel by foreigner tourist. Then, I will bring you to Tradition Lanna House Museum, some houses bring back trace of memory that I use to live during my childhood. Let me explain you about people who live there, social role the house had, learn about the previous inhabitants and the social history. A unique opportunity for visitors to experience Buddhism by chatting with monks, asking questions about Buddhism, culture, tradition, ways of life of monks and try simply meditating. Last, visit Wat Umong, a magnificent temple in the forest. The reason why tunnels in this temple, I can tell you more.

Your Chiang Mai tour itinerary

- First will drive to the countryside to visit Wat Ton Kwen, the old temple date back about 150 years, which still preserved in traditional Lanna Style. You will enjoy the peaceful surrounding which less travelers. - Then travel back to the previous of life of Lanna period, visit Lanna Traditional House Museum and gain some knowledge of the pass, the architect history and how people live in these typical traditional houses in the former time. - After lunch at local restaurant, we have a special meeting with monk chat program, understanding monk life in the temple and also lean a basic teaching of Buddha and meditation. - Last stop at Wat Umong, forestry temple, with ancient tunnels. Explore the original beautiful painting inside and purpose of these unusual tunnels. Note: itinerary can be swab not exactly same order depend on what time monks available, but will do all activity as mentioned on itinerary
