Hi! This is Khamis, and I know the most interesting places in the tropical island of Zanzibar, from extraordinary natural areas to historical remains from the ancient world that I crave to share with travellers from all over. Booking me, you can be sure to obtain a great quality service from a licensed tour operator, with no rush or hurry. Zanzibar's ravishing beaches and its historic Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Zanzibar City, have utterly captivated me, and I can proudly say I have been guiding for 2 decades. I would love to contextualize you on the history of this archipelago, once a flourishing trading hub, which became a melting pot of African, Arab, Indian and European cultures. As we explore together, expect to see the vivid shades of every color imaginable, as well as the textures and vibrant energy of our seafront and our markets, with locals greeting you by saying “jambo” (hello) and “karibu” (welcome) every day. So get immersed in all that Zanzibar has to offer the right way; with a knowledgeable and polite guide that you can trust, who will focus on providing you with the kind of experience you wish to get, at your own pace.

On this tour, we'll get on a wooden boat across crystal clear waters and come across beautiful local fauna! Thousands of years ago, Arabs reached these lands navigating across the Indian Ocean, and originally referred to what we now know as Africa as "Alkebulan". Zanzibar, which used to be a country of its own, was originally run by Arabs, which built countless houses here. We'll visit one of these houses together, located at a very nice beach. Originally built for Sultan Majid in the mid 1800s, the Livingstone house was offered as lodging to Christian missionaries and explorers in the Colonial times. The most famous missionary to stay in it was David Livingstone, who decided to focus his efforts on mainland Tanganyka due to Zanzibar being too strongly Islamic.
-After picking you up, we'll first go to Livingstone House, where David Livingstone stayed before his last expedition in 1866. -After visiting the house, we'll go towards the water and get on board a wooden boat (I could help you putting on flotable life jackets for your safety). -We'll then depart the beach 30 minutes until we reach on the Sandbank -On arrival than all peoples will be free on the Nakupenda beach -Once there, you can swim in Nakupenda's crystal clear waters, you can enjoy some shelling and of course, an array of fresh seafood and fruits for you to taste. -At last, we'll get back on our boat towards Livingstone Beach, from where I'll drive you back to where I picked you up from.
