My name is Maulid, also known as Dutch as my nickname. I am native of Zanzibar Islands, as I was born and raised and study within the place. I am from the Swahili family being the second born among 8 siblings. I started my educational journey at Primary and Secondary within the Zanzibar City where else for my high schools studies I attended Tumekuja Secondary Schools located within the periphery of the famous old Stone Town of Zanzibar. As I am from Zanzibar archipelagos which are the tourist spot in Africa with extravaganza beaches and unique tourist attractions, I decided to opt the Bachelor of Tourism Management offered at Sokoine University of Agriculture. As energetic young man I have always find my heart always being moved with staffs of interesting like swimming, readings, hangout with friends, above all traveling and explore the new places truly satisfied me. Thus, I truly considered and cherish the mention activities being the best of my hobbies. As I am now professional on the tourism sector, focusing on tour operating and guiding are the interested element I chose to focus within this sector. My interest was groomed with many factors start from the time of my studies. I got chances to meet and interact with different people who are diverse in culture, races, religious and ethics hence learnt and adopt to live with them. I got chances to visited many interesting places such National Parks, Mountains areas. Thus, motivated my soul close to nature and inspired like travel, Leisure and Tourism. When I returned back home, I opted to become a local Tour guide so as to share experiences and deep Knowledge about Zanzibar cultures and Tanzania mainland. Being a local tour guide has always being the favorite to my side as it offers me the chance to show people what is the unique things about my country's cities and her people as well as learning from other people's perspectives therefore, exchange friendship and cultural learning. Zanzibar is an autonomous Islands with total land of kilometre square of 2654. It is formed with union of main islands known as Unguja and Pemba along with surrounded with smaller islands. Zanzibar is also part of United Republic of Tanzania thus, makes the area unique as diverse in cultural and religious aspects among the people formed the unique destinations for the travelers to explore. Consequently, my aim of being a local tour for the visitors in my local place in Zanzibaris to be the best assistance not only for them to explore the place but to be a stimulus to exceed their traveling expectations and customize the tours as due to the needs of the travelers. As to the famous saying " Seeing is believing" I would like to welcome you all to visit Zanzibar the spice islands with astonishing white sandy beaches that would blow your mind and the home of the hospitality of her people that would prove to you that when you are in Zanzibar there is nothing to worry. * Karibu Zanzibar Hakuna matata* Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management, Certificate in an Intensive Course of Tour Guiding, Certificate in Tour operation and Marketing,Former Receptionist at Serena Hotel and worked as an airport concierge for Safina Tours and Travel.
