Arusha is known as Tanzania's safari capital and the life in the city revolves around tourism.
I started doing this tour because of my passion to give room for the visitors to understand a bit of the diversion of Tanzania's culture, a country with more the 120 tribes bounded by kiswahili language.

This tour involves visiting Maasai market where clients will see different handcrafts produced by Maasai and other local people.

What I love most about this experience is the cultural heritage site. This biggest African Art Gallery is amazing, it collects art across the continents. You can get all you need for the memory in Africa whether is bronze, carvings, paintings, antiques or jewelry.

6 days Climb Mount Kilimanjaro via marangu route

The route approaches the mount from the southeast, it is considered to be the easiest route among the five climbing routes due to its gradual slope and the direct path. It is also the oldest and well-established and the only one that offers facilities such as sleeping huts which are in dormitory style.

The huts have bunk beds at Mandara, Kibo, and Horombo huts. There are supplies of mattresses and pillows but still, there is a need for sleeping bags to be carried with the guest. Apart from the pillows and mattresses, the huts are also equipped with dining halls and equipped washrooms.

Summit from the East Mount Kilimanjaro

Tarangire National Park covers an area of 2, 600 km² situated 120 km south of Arusha. This park is far from being the biggest of the Tanzania parks, but it has unrivalled landscape of open plains, dotted with thousands of its baobab trees and splendid vistas of rolling savannah and acacia woodland and it is mostly known for the largest herds of elephants and buffalo. This is one of Africa's little-known gems and should be on the itinerary of all lovers of wilderness and solitude.

The game numbers are staggering: 30. 000 zebras, 25. 000 wildebeest, 5. 000 buffalo, 3. 000 elephants, 2. 500 Maasai giraffes and over 1. 000 fringe-eared Oryx. Predators include lion, cheetah and leopard; birders will want to look out for the endemic ashy starling, Rufous-tailed weaver and black-collared lovebird.

Packed lunch is served at the picnic site, later in the afternoon drive back to Arusha.

Visit Tarangire National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is situated in northern Tanzania and the entrance gate is about 126 km west of Arusha. The park covers an area of 330 sq. km, up to 200 of which are taken up by the lake when the water level is high.

Lake Manyara has no outflows and is fed by underground springs and several permanent rivers. It was formed as the result of a depression in the rift valley system. Residents suggest this lake was a hotspot for sport hunting around the 1920s before becoming part of the national park in 1960.

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions. The park's lions tend to climb trees far more often than those in the Serengeti National Park or Tarangire National Park. This phenomenon has baffled scientists, and seeing tree climbing lions on a game drive is an unforgettable experience. I'll tell you some of the secrets I learned in my years of experience, and share some of the reasons why they do this.

The Kilimanjaro volcanic massif is one of the world's largest volcanoes presenting the worldwide image of African Continent. It supports a unique combination of eco-climatic zones that takes you on the equivalent trip from the Arctic to the equator in a very short space, being one of the unique ecosystem located near the equator that contains glaciers.
Alpine desert makes the greatest extent of all glaciated equatorial mountain in East Africa.

The day trip normally takes 5h ascending and descending via the Marangu route. I love this tour because it provides an excellent exploration of montane forest, streams heading downward to the rural and urban town of Moshi. You will visit Maundi Crater, which gives a nice view of Lake Challa, Lake Jipe, Usambara Mountain and Amboseli National Park in Kenya. Trails are well established that give excellent trekking.

Your day trip trekking will start at Marangu entry gate and ending at Mandara hut adding 15 minutes visit to the Maundi Crater.

Meeting at Namanga border from Kenya. After clearing with customs and Immigrations formalities, you will be met by your driver and guide. Drive and stop for hot lunch at a local restaurant (payable by the traveller).

Then, drive to Arusha, about 110 Km drive on good conditions tarmac road. Enroute, you will come across Maasai steppe and livestock herds, nice view of Mount Kilimanjaro (the first peak in Tanzania and first in Africa) and will have a closer view of Mount Meru (second peak in Tanzania and fourth peak in Africa).

Also, we will pass across Great Rift Valley floor with little herds of Thomson gazelles and Zebras (not guaranteed as sometimes animals may not come close to the roads). On arrival in Arusha town, you will be dropped off at your Hotel.
