Arusha City is well known for being a tourism hub in Northern Tanzania. It provides to the travelers an outstanding day activity, a priceless experience and memorable tour. Mount Meru Waterfalls are located 7kms one way from Arusha City Center, only reached by private transport. On arrival at administrative office and after registration formalities you will start a 1km leisurely walk passing through the quiet and perfect greenery vegetation to the waterfalls point. There is a sort of clambering on the way but well manageable by all age class. I personally like this tour because you will not only enjoy water flowing but also receiving health and wellness from Mother Nature which provide soothing sights and sounds that help you relax and de-stress in today's busy world. Later on you will enjoy self - arranged snacks or packed lunch before heading back to your hotel in Arusha or airport.
Your Arusha tour itinerary
The suggested itinerary will be the following: - Pick from your Hotel in Arusha or Airport and drive to Mount Meru Water Falls (30 minutes from Arusha town / 1hr30minues from Kilimanjaro airport / 1hr from Arusha airport). - On arrival at Mount Meru Water Falls administrative office you will do registration formalities and later on, embark on 1km walking to reach the water falls point. You will have enough time depending on your timetable to stay at the water falls and even eat at this point. - Later on you will walk back to the administrative office and board your car to Arusha town/airport. This is a suggested itinerary, let me know what you would like to see and do and I will customize the tour accordingly.
