Meeting at Namanga border from Kenya. After clearing with customs and Immigrations formalities, you will be met by your driver and guide. Drive and stop for hot lunch at a local restaurant (payable by the traveller). Then, drive to Arusha, about 110 Km drive on good conditions tarmac road. Enroute, you will come across Maasai steppe and livestock herds, nice view of Mount Kilimanjaro (the first peak in Tanzania and first in Africa) and will have a closer view of Mount Meru (second peak in Tanzania and fourth peak in Africa). Also, we will pass across Great Rift Valley floor with little herds of Thomson gazelles and Zebras (not guaranteed as sometimes animals may not come close to the roads). On arrival in Arusha town, you will be dropped off at your Hotel.
The itinerary will be: - Pick up from Namanga border, drive for lunch at Namanga town (or drive for lunch at Arusha town). - Afternoon Arusha City tour if time allow. - Drop off at your hotel. This is a suggested itinerary, let me know what you would like to see and do and I will customize the tour accordingly.
