I am a tour guide based in Moshi, Tanzania. I born and raised on slopes of mount Meru in Arusha a get way to the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire. I am a teacher by professional and holds bachelor degree in management of social development but I chosen to quit all other professionals and engage fully into tourism professional. I used to guide and organize treks in Mount Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru and safaris in Tanzania destinations of Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, etc since 2012. Overview of your Arusha tour
Tarangire National Park is home of the largest herds of elephants in East Africa and well known for its own attraction of huge baobab trees that reach up to one thousand years of life. This destination lies about 120km southwest of Arusha. It has high population of animals that even rivals that of the Serengeti in regarding to its land size. You will have a chance to see wildebeests, zebras, elands, hartebeests, buffaloes, gerenuks, fringe eared Oryx, Lions, Cheetah, Leopard, and flocks of birds of many different species. Tarangire National Park is the best destination for one day safari in northern part of the country especially for the visitors that are interested to see wildlife in a big numbers and they have limited time to visit Serengeti. Also you will get to visit Maasai people who are living just on boundaries with their cattle. You will be surprised to find Maasai children grazing their cattle inside the park with wild animals.
Your Arusha tour itinerary
I will pick you at 07:00 AM (with packed lunch) and drive to Tarangire National Park. Reaching at the entrance gate I will register your tour for few minutes and the we will start a game drive inside the park. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park area and continue with afternoon game drive. After that we will checkout of the park and visit Maasai home located close to the park boundary to learn their culture using half an hour then we will drive back to Arusha.
