Swiss green meadows with the classic images of Swiss cows, the snowy mountains' peaks on the background, the powerful waterfalls, the stunning color of alpine lakes - all this is priceless! I live in Swiss Riviera region, which attracted so many celebrities like Freddie Mercury, Coco Chanel, Igor Stravinsky, Audrey Hepburn, Charlie Chaplin and many others. They were choosing this place for living. And I guess they had a good eye on the best! In my home country (Belarus, Gomel region) I obtained a diploma in Marketing and then got an office job that provided me financially but didn't give me the sense of living full live). So, I stepped down for Cruise Line job on the bord of a ship cruising in Caribbean. Since then my life never brought me to the office again. I started doing tours when I was living in Madrid, Spain. Dive into regional traditions, featuring an authentic cheesemaking demo over an open wood fire. This is paired with a cheese tasting of local varieties and a traditional Swiss chalet lunch. The experience can be customized with scenic and active upgrades. Options include riding a modern funicular to a 2,000-meter mountain summit for panoramic views overlooking the Lake Geneva region, the Jura mountains, and the Mont Blanc massif. For those seeking a bit of excitement, a family-friendly alpine toboggan run (bob-luge) is also available, offering a thrilling descent through the crisp mountain air for all ages.
Your Montreux tour itinerary
1. We meet directly at your accommodation in Lausanne, Vevey, or Montreux to begin our scenic journey into the Gruyère region. 2. We arrive at a traditional mountain chalet near Gruyères for an authentic wood-fired cheesemaking demonstration and tasting. 3. Optional: Enjoy a traditional local lunch (like authentic fondue or chalet macaroni) at the restaurant in the same historic chalet. 4. We take the funicular railway, and then catch the aerial cableway to reach the magnificent summit of Le Moléson at 2,002 meters (approx 6,560 feet). 5. Back down at the village resort, both kids and adults can enjoy the thrill of the summer bobsled/toboggan run (bob-luge). 6. If time allows before heading back, we will take a charming detour to explore the historic, car-free medieval village of Gruyères. 7. We return you safely back to your accommodation at the end of a wonderful day.
