Hi, my name is Cristina. I come from Seville, Spain. I'm passionate about my city. Seville is a bright beautiful city. You can find art in every corner. That's why I love explaining Seville, Cádiz, and Huelva in my region: Andalusia. I became an official guide by The Andalusian Government in 2018. Before that, I used to teach Andalusian arts and cultural references at English and Spanish private schools and centres for retired people. I have much experience as a local guide since I've been working since 2018 for many tourist companies. I focus my tours on your preferences. I want you to enjoy every minute while you take my tour. So, if you contact me, you will enjoy the arts, architecture, ceramics, gastronomy, must-see museums, flamenco, and local spots in Seville and around the area. In my free time, I love biking, swimming, hiking, and travelling around the world with family and friends. I like both dogs and cats. I also love looking after my mother and teaching French to her! I enjoy going out with my family and friends and Seville has wonderful weather, that's why It's quite common to go out, to green landscapes and the seaside which are my favourite spots to relax in. I enjoy a lot going to the theatre, opera, and movies also. Life is a wonderful ride, and why I want to guide you. 1. University of Granada Certificate in English + Spanish Translating. In this walking tour we'll move around the monumental area in Seville for a full knowlegde of its history, personality and folklore. Sevilla is one of the oldest cities in Spain and each culture and civilization has left a rich mark in it, from the phoenicians, romans, arabs and christians. Let me show you my beautiful city around in a relaxed paced walk full of legends, arts, and historical facts that you'll love. Why choose this tour? Well, this is a unique experience that combines both Muslim and Christian cultures. You will be astonished after watching The Giralda Tower (104 metres high!) built both by Muslims and Christians (Mudéjar Art). Also The Alcazar (The Royal Palace) with a great variety of astonishing architectural styles.
We'll start by the Tower of Gold (Torre del Oro) with a short stroll by the river banks. Then, we'll move to the impressive "San Telmo" Palace and we'll reach our most beloved park, "Parque de Maria Luisa". In minutes, we'll have the opportunity to admire the Magnificient "Plaza de España", its colourful and traditional ceramics, where you can take the most amazing photos to remember your trip in Sevilla. After that, we'll head for the old city centre to take a look to the Old Royal Tobacco Factory which is today the main building of the University of Seville. We'll be very soon crossing by the most lively area called "Puerta de Jerez" and "Constitution Avenue" to get to Plaza del Triunfo. From this point we can enjoy the view of the three main monuments in Seville, declared as World Heritage Site by Unesco en 1987: The "General Archive of the Indies", The Royal Alcazar and the Cathedral Giralda tower. To finish, I'll show you the old jewish quarter, the most charming and picturesque neigbourhood.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
