The reason ? … because I am in love with my land… with the green valleys, with the small mining-towns , with the high peaks of our mountains , with the brave cantabric sea , with the Celtic past , with the sound of the bagpipes , with the flavour of our local cheeses … because I love to feel over my face the cool breeze of the air when I leave my house to go working and f I feel that I am in very special place with history, nature , art , past , safety and … future . That feeling, is something that always , after 25 years of hard work , I try to transmit to my guests , the love for Asturias Natural Paradise. Let me introduce my birth-place , and let me show to you , the history of our 12 kings , let me visit with you our prerromanesque monuments declared by the UNESCO as worldwide heritage , let me share with you our fresh gastronomy and my love for my region. What our guests value most about this tour is that has been designed to explore the two most important cities of Asturias: the monumental capital "Oviedo", and the bustling and summer "Gijón" known as the "capital of the green coast". We'll visit the Gothic cathedral of Oviedo, where stands out its extraordinary altarpiece of the XVI century, and its Holy Chamber. We'll stroll around the alleys and corners of the medieval city and admire the market of El Fontán with its Cantabrian fish, Asturian meats, or its 40 cheeses (the largest cheese stain in all of Europe) where l have memories of my childhood running among the stalls and tasting those typical flavours. We'll recharge energy tasting the world-famous Asturian cider, authentic nectar created by Celts and proudly maintained by the Asturian generations and which I personally love! Gijón comes next. We'll enjoy amazing views from the Cape of San Lorenzo, its impressive beach of more than 3 km and relax sorrounded by nature: perfect for shooting photos!
