Welcome to the Garden Route of South Africa. I am a 100% South African, a country that I love to travel throughout, sharing the wonders of the country with tourists. It is my passion to communicate with people from all over the world. My passion is for wildlife, fauna and flora. My home area is that of magnificent coastal regions, inland to Afromontane forests and beyond the great Outeniqua mountains into the Karoo which I love to explore over and over. Experiencing the wild animals and birds out in nature in the reserves and interacting with the likes of elephant, ostrich and other creatures gives me great delight. I have a good knowledge of wildlife, birding, flora and fauna. I enjoy taking people to venues that offer tourists some good local experiences and activities, craft and good food off course!! Outdoor activities such as canoeing, paragliding, forest walks and more are always a delight. Kruger National Park is yet another region that I love to share during the months of May through to September. Kruger is one of the greatest game reserves in the world, home of the "Big 5", a place of beauty from sun rise to sun set, host to many animals, birds and reptiles. I am most proud to live in this beautiful region and would love to take you on a tour. The Karoo is reached by crossing the magnificent Outeniqua Mountain Range, our drive takes us from the lush coastal area to the dry warmth of Oudtshoorn. Today we visit some of the most magnificent caves - The Cango Caves. We enjoy a guided tour walking through the beautiful cave chambers. After the caves, we visit Cango Ostrich farm for some entertainment with ostriches, feed them perhaps or have a 'ostrich massage! An experience not to be missed, with lots of laughs all around. Our next three hour stop is at the beautiful setting of Buffelsdrift Game Reserve, here we shall have an excellent set menu luncheon plus time to share with the most special elephant, who leave us with wonderful memories. This is a fun packed full day and rather warm, please do bring a sun hat, sun cream and walking shoes essential. Leaving Oudtshoorn back over the Outeniqua pass with breathless viewing, stopping for a photo or two along the way.
