Welcome to the Garden Route of South Africa. I am a 100% South African, a country that I love to travel throughout, sharing the wonders of the country with tourists. It is my passion to communicate with people from all over the world. My passion is for wildlife, fauna and flora. My home area is that of magnificent coastal regions, inland to Afromontane forests and beyond the great Outeniqua mountains into the Karoo which I love to explore over and over. Experiencing the wild animals and birds out in nature in the reserves and interacting with the likes of elephant, ostrich and other creatures gives me great delight. I have a good knowledge of wildlife, birding, flora and fauna. I enjoy taking people to venues that offer tourists some good local experiences and activities, craft and good food off course!! Outdoor activities such as canoeing, paragliding, forest walks and more are always a delight. Kruger National Park is yet another region that I love to share during the months of May through to September. Kruger is one of the greatest game reserves in the world, home of the "Big 5", a place of beauty from sun rise to sun set, host to many animals, birds and reptiles. I am most proud to live in this beautiful region and would love to take you on a tour. The local forests are a must for the keen Nature & Bird Lover. Leaving Mossel Bay city behind us taking and drive along the coast then into local forests, a magnificent area of the Wilderness offering views of the Wilderness coast and forested region. Driving through the Wilderness, to Hoekwil we reach the Woodville Forest, taking a gentle walk through the forest with your guide who shares passion of the region, fauna and flora. These forests are known for the 'giants', our Outeniqua Yellow Wood Trees which tower above the forests. A large variety of bird life play and call as we pass through their forest home. Often one can find the Knysna Turaco following the walk above in the canopy of the trees. Time for a picnic after the walk. After our time at the forest we take a drive through Hoogekraal Forest region down to the coast, through Sedgefield and a stop off at Dolphin View Point and finally arrive in Mossel Bay.
Guests are collected at Mossel Bay quay or central point, drive to Wilderness Heights, right into Whites Road continue 1km, right into Remskoen Street to end of road to Map of Africa view point. From Map of Africa return to Whites Road, turn right, down hill into Wilderness Village. At N2, left, 3km left into Serpentine/Hoekwil road becomes Seven Passes Road continue 10km through Hoekwil. Left at Woodville Forest for a guided forest walk.
