Welcome to the Garden Route of South Africa. I am a 100% South African, a country that I love to travel throughout, sharing the wonders of the country with tourists. It is my passion to communicate with people from all over the world. My passion is for wildlife, fauna and flora. My home area is that of magnificent coastal regions, inland to Afromontane forests and beyond the great Outeniqua mountains into the Karoo which I love to explore over and over. Experiencing the wild animals and birds out in nature in the reserves and interacting with the likes of elephant, ostrich and other creatures gives me great delight. I have a good knowledge of wildlife, birding, flora and fauna. I enjoy taking people to venues that offer tourists some good local experiences and activities, craft and good food off course!! Outdoor activities such as canoeing, paragliding, forest walks and more are always a delight. Kruger National Park is yet another region that I love to share during the months of May through to September. Kruger is one of the greatest game reserves in the world, home of the "Big 5", a place of beauty from sun rise to sun set, host to many animals, birds and reptiles. I am most proud to live in this beautiful region and would love to take you on a tour. Meandering along crisp fresh coast and beautiful Wilderness lake region, backed by magnificent mountain range - the Outeniqua Mountains. Passing a selection of five lakes we reach the Knysna Lagoon, which exits at the Knysna Heads. A day of splendid scenery and many sights to visit, history of the region shared by your guide. Visits to Belvidere historic site, Thesen Island for lunch and some shopping, a boat trip across the lagoon and sights to behold from the Knysna Heads
A fresh start leaving Mossel Bay and travelling through the magnificent Wilderness region along the Garden Route coast otherwise known as "Eden. " We pass the network of lakes in the region, stopping for a photograph or two at Wilderness and at beginning of Sedgefield. After an hour we arrive at the beginning of Knysna, time to stretch the legs at our first stop Belvidere, here we explore the quaint Belvidere Estate and church designed by Sofia Gray, famous for her church designs in mid 1800's. Next up a boat trip on the Knysna Lagoon followed by lunch and perhaps some shopping at Thesen Island. After lunch we travel up to the view point of the Knysna Heads, breathtaking views to behold. We retrace our trip back to Wilderness, George then stopping off for the odd photograph along the coast at favourite look out spots, finally back to Mossel Bay quay side to board the ocean liner.
