Explore the world's first Night Safari and learn more about nocturnal animals found in the South East Asian region and beyond. This is possibly the most popular "nightspot" on the island and a must-visit for many first-time visitor to Singapore. On this family-friendly tour, you will get up close to the animals, made possible with the "Open Zoo" concept adopted by the park. You will get to learn more about the "Open Zoo" concept, animals' diet, exhibit design elements, animal behavior enrichment techniques and about animal conservation. Maybe you are wondering how would a tourist guide know all these intimate details about animals and of how an animal park works? The truth is, yours truly is not just a tourist guide but a Zoo Docent (educational outreach volunteer) for 20 years and counting! So what better way to explore the Night Safari than to have a guide and Docent to show you around!
The itinerary includes the following: 1. Walking trails - we will aim to cover two of the trails which are not accessible by the tram ride 2. Tram ride - about 35 minutes in duration, it brings to parts of the park that are not accessible by the walking trails 3. Animal show - not so much a performing animal show but one that showcases the characteristics of the animals Private transport will pick you up from your location of choice and have you back at your location of choice after the tour. The itinerary can be customized with the walking trail segment. You could let me know what you would like to see most so that I can lead you on the right path through the park.
