Hola! I'm Maria, a 46-year-old artist, communicator, healer, guide and facilitator, currently residing in the Amazon Rainforest since 2015. Originally from Denmark, I bring with me a wealth of experience, also having worked as a CSR senior consultant on human rights issues. My journey has always been fueled by a curiosity for different cultures, a passion for justice, and a commitment to positive collaboration. Having explored 38 countries and lived in 6, I've cultivated an open heart and a multicultural identity. My solo travels began at the age of 16, and in 2015, I returned to South America, a place that has always felt like "home. " Over the next four years, I travelled and volunteered extensively, spending 2 years in an indigenous education program in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest—an experience that deepened my connection to this remarkable ecosystem before I started my own project. My love for the Amazon extends beyond admiration; it's a commitment to collaborative projects with local friends. I believe that sharing knowledge and ideas can bring about real change, and my work focuses on (re-)connecting people to nature through various channels, arts, and collaborations. I firmly believe in the power of shared knowledge, and my principle is to share from the heart. My goal is to offer you not just an outstanding experience but to foster a genuine love for the Amazon Rainforest. All my endeavours are carried out in collaboration with local friends and communities, facilitating a direct exchange that supports our collective growth as human beings, the building of new friendships, and the promotion of life in harmony. Choosing to travel with me means more than just a journey; it's an endorsement of our educational and art projects dedicated to preserving life in the Amazon. I look forward to creating and sharing a natural experience with you as your guide—a pleasure that goes beyond exploration, extending to the heart of our shared commitment to the beauty and sustainability of the Amazon Rainforest. I have guided and received guests for 7+ years in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest. I am not a driver.
