Hola amigos! I am Susana, I live in Guanajuato and I love it here. Once I had the honor of working with the gray whales tourism in Vizcaíno, Baja California Sur; and from there I went to the south, the Yucatan bird festival "Toh" attracted to me. Later I fell in love with community projects at the state of Guanajuato when trying to push rural tourism initiatives, I still believe that we can do a lot to grow in this field. Before being a guide I am a traveler, a wanderer, and I like to see the world with my own eyes and I also love to appreciate my own city through traveling eyes. I am an accredited guide for Mexican Tourism Bureau. I think I am friendly, easy going. . . I like hiking, talking with people, ice cream, mexican and world cuisines, visit different places, nature and old cities, I love to spend time with friends, family and of course, with travelers!. -All my tours can be customized, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions - Nature Guide according to the local law: "Norma 09". This is a bike ride along the "Old Road known as Marfil", a neighborhood immersed in contemporary Guanajuato and rooted with its great history as "Real de Minas de Santiago" since XVII Century. We want to explore together in its two temples, the Parish of San José and La Purísima Concepción and the Temple of San José and Señor Santiago, as well I want to show you some of the houses, old mining plants ruins or "haciendas de beneficio" and be sure I will recommend you various culinary options in the area. Let me tell you Marfil is my neighborhood!
First, I will ask for more information about your height, experience, age and so on. Then we will meet you at the "Puente Marlboro" in the south of the city from there we will take the Camino Antiguo to reach some churches. The ride is approximately 5-9 kilometers. I encourage you to ride a bike for a while along this old neighbourhood, which is immersed in Guanajuato of the past and Guanajuato for the present. Be sure we will do many stops to explain history of mining, admire architecture, and also we will drink or snack something. After 2. 5 to 3 hours we are going to end the tour. -All my tours can be customized, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions -
