Overview of your Cozumel tour
This is your opportunity to explore the biggest and the best-preserved ancient city on the Island with a professional private archeology guide. Discover the interesting history of the most important commercial and religious center of the Island. In ancient times, a large number of canoes were taken by women and girls, traveling from Pole (an ancient port in playa del Carmen) to Cozumel to worship Ixchel in this city, they brought with them offerings to receive their divine blessing of fertility, a journey they performed at least twice in their lifetime! Especially if you are a lady this is a place to visit! After exploring this ancient city in the jungle side of the Island, it will be perfect to go on the coast on a local restaurant, so you can relax and enjoy a refreshing swiming and snorkeling inside the turquoise water and have lunch there if you need. *I will bring my snorkleing masks and I will be happy to take you around for snorkeling, and explain to you aboit the reef life.
Your Cozumel tour itinerary
*Pick up at the Cruise Ship Port or Hotel *Transfer to the Ruins (around 25 min) *Visit the Archeological Site (1 hour and a half ) *After the visit, our driver will be waiting for us out of the archaeological site with refreshing drinks and snaks. *Transfer from there to the Beach Restaurant (20 min) * Free Time for enjoying the beach and snorkeling. *The total time with the transportation is 4 hours, including bringing you back to the Cruise Pier, in case that you would like to stay longer at the beach restaurant it is possible, but you will need to pay an extra cost to the driver for the extra time. (around 35usd per hour) *You can spend as long you want at the beach restaurant and you can have a delicious local lunch, and if you would like to have a refreshing swim for snorkeling there or just relax is the perfect place. ** I will bring my snorkeling gear in case you would like to do snorkeling there, I would love to show you the reef life.
