Hi! My name is Lara and I am a dive instructor living in Cozumel, Mexico. My goal is to introduce everyone I can to the world I love the most - the one under the waves! I have been diving in Cozumel for over 4 years now and have dedicated myself to learning the sites, familiarizing myself with all of the marine creatures, big and small, and learning when it is best to dive and where. I am very organized, love and trust the people I work with, and have a passion for the ocean and the life that thrives within it. All of these traits enable me to provide you with more than a tour, but a life-changing experience! Nothing beats your first magical encounter with a turtle or a giant spotted eagle ray, and I am here to make that happen as safely and enjoyably as possible. Whether you're a certified underwater lover or you've never tried diving before, I would love to have you! I am a PADI certified dive instructor and owner of my own PADI dive center. I am also certified in Emergency First Response and administering emergency oxygen. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver. I am not authorized to take anyone under the age of 10 years old diving.

Overview of your Cozumel tour
Did you know that Cozumel has over 20 incredible dive sites to choose from, all with different colors, formations, and wildlife? Hop on a private, fast boat for the day with me, Lara, your favorite scuba guide! The best part about this experience is that you get to decide where we to go, or I can help you decide based on your interests and what you are hoping to see! Having a private boat, and my knowledge of the different reefs will provide us with plenty of flexibility so, by the end of the day, you leave having had two of the best dives of your life and a surface interval surprise that will take your breath away.
Your Cozumel tour itinerary
Depending on where you are staying, I will either meet you at your hotel or pick you up with the boat. We will then try on equipment, fill out paperwork, and get the good times going. We will decide on the first dive site together based on the weather and your dive level and preferences. I will give a thorough briefing on what you can expect in the water and how to have the most fun while keeping safety as our first priority. When we arrive, we will hop in for our first dive - there is no maximum bottom time, we will dive your tank! After the first dive, we will head over to your surprise surface interval and have lunch while we decompress in the sun. When everyone is ready, we'll jump in for dive number two and just as before, dive your tank. We will finish the day with a cold beer or soda and nice ride back to your accommodation!
