History and Highlights Tour of Los Cabos Shore Excursion

We enjoyed the tour very much; Augusto was engaging and accommodating (my husband wasn't feeling well and needed to be driven back to the ship. My favorite part was going through the amazing photos that our wonderful guide took of us. Although, the boat ride and glass blowing tours were wonderful as well. My only criticism was the accuracy of the "history" of Los Cabos. I caught a at least 1 error..... Planet of the Apes (the original beach scene) was NOT filmed in Cabo; it was filmed at Point Dume in Malibu, CA. :-) The history errors notwithstanding, the tour was worth it just for the photographs of my family alone. Thank you!!! We had a great time!!!

Augusto was great! He planned a trip based on what we wanted to see. Had a lovely boat ride with a great captain to see the arch. We then visited a glass blowing factory. Thoroughly enjoyed our day with him!

Augusto was a wonderful tour guide. He's knowledgeable, funny and has a lot of interesting perspectives. He's a very personable man. We did not have a lot of time but he took us to many different places and he brought us to an out of the way seafood restaurant that was fabulous. Everyone in our group loved him and we absolutely would use him again if we returned to Los Cabos.

We booked Augusto’s (Gus) tour which included Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos and the immediate area. It was a beautiful ride along the coast. Although we know quite a bit about Mexico, we had not visited Cabo in many years. Gus is extremely well versed in the different locales, history, plants and vegetation as well as the people. Any question we had, he answered clearly and concisely in perfect English. We asked Gus to take us to an authentic Mexican restaurant for lunch which we thoroughly enjoyed with the help of Gus translating for us. Gus drove his own van carefully which was clean and supplied with drinks. We had a fabulous, information packed day and would recommend Gus wholeheartedly as a tour guide. Thank you Gus!!

Augusto was on time and provided a great boat tour to the Arch. He then gave us a tour the natural history museum followed by a visit to a glass blowing factory, both of which were very interesting. Augusto is a naturalist (one of the reasons we picked him), and took us bird watching at a wetlands nature sanctuary. We then visited Old Town San Jose Cabo including a fun tasting at a chocolate factory. Augusto is an excellent guide, safe driver, and spoke English very well - we highly recommend him!
