Hola adventurer. I'm Danny, your certified guide and personal friend in beautiful Los Cabos, my guiding experience started 20 years ago when I started my rock climbing career. Come with me on this adventure to discover Los Cabo roots on a private adventure. I'll teach you about the native PERICU, true native nomad of Cabo canyons since the early 1300's before the encounter between European and native people of Baja. We will visit my favorite local ranch to meet the popular culture "Ranchero Californio" and taste traditional handcrafted products elaborated with traditional techniques teached by the Jesuit Missionaries since the XVIIth century. Have a fire kitchen Rancho meal of the fresh products from the rancho that will give your tour a unique gastronomic delight. Enjoy our guided nature loop hike ( 3. 5 miles depending on traveler skills) to the mountain range of cabo; the national reserve Sierra de la Laguna, responsible of being the main clear water source of Los Cabos. Take a splash on its natural springs at the end to crown our hike before going back. A great combo of los cabos surroundings and history.
Danny adjusted this tour for the physical ability of one of the hikers. We all had a great time. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the Baja, its plants and geology. He was attentive without being overbearing or intrusive. We will definitely look for him to guide us when we visit Cabo again.
Danny is a fantastic knowledgeable guide. He is friendly and kind and this hike is wonderful. I was suffering from a knee problem and was able to make the whole hike, as Danny was helpful and patient. I highly recommend this hike and Danny as a guide.
This is a very different tour than driving around tourist areas. The tour guide, Daniel, has great depth of experience and he is able to share a very detailed view of the area and it's history. We visited a humble ranch, enjoyed a tasty breakfast and could quietly become aware of real life in the higher elevations. The hike was challenging but we felt safely guided through the terrain. We again felt a window opening to let in the real world that was around us. We had a great time. Highly recommended.
• After picking you up from your motor lobby, villa, AIRBNB or convenience point. We'll take the transportation for around one hour to the outskirts of cabo. • You'll visit a true Cabos Ranch to have a tasting of missionary bread or cheese as this is their main economy on this comunity. Followed by a traditional meal cooked on a fire kitchen. • After meal we'll move to the entrance of the national reserve Sierra de la Laguna where we'll start our nature guided hike towards the skirts of the mountains to admire some of the endemic species of trees, cactus and animals unique to the Baja peninsula, natural water springs are around so don't forget your swim suit to enjoy a splash if you feel like. • After taking your well deserved free time to enjoy the mountains We'll head back to Cabo area to your resort or cruice ship.
