Hello; My name is Jean Claude - I am a National tour guide in Madagascar and I am the first private tour guide organizer of the boat ride on Tsiribihina River. I have had my license issued by Tourism Ministerium of Madagascar under n° 049/MCT/SG/DG/GUIDE LICENSE B since 2004. I am recipient of 2005 (BID) Business Initiative Direction award in Spanish. The title of my prize is " arc of Europe for the quality and technology ". My children and my wife always make me feel happy to encourage me to do and continue my job as a tour guide. I love my family, I love my Job and I love everyone who trusts my services as a private tour guide in Madagascar. Currently, I am including visits of Tsingy of Bemaraha (in the north of Morondava city), Andasibe Park (in the east of Antananarivo the capital), Isalo National Park (in the middle south of Madagascar) and many others wonderful places and touristic attractions. I am passionate about tourism activities. I love my country and I am keen to share what is best in it to every traveler from everywhere in the world. Our country is very rich in fauna and flora, many of them are endemics in Madagascar. For the fauna, you can find several species of lemurs, the biggest is the INDRI INDRI. And for the flora, Madagascar is very popular about the amazing Baobab trees, there are many species of it ( the typical one is the bottle baobab). The Baobab alley in Morondava is the most attractive one. I am very keen of telling about Madagascar story during my tours. The customers don't visit only those wonderful sites and places but they will also have the opportunity to learn about our life in detailS. I am a very talkative boy but I control myself about what I say. I am smiling and I am friendly with all people. My extensive experience guiding all over Madagascar makes me the ideal choice for your travels in this unique and awe-inspiring country. I propose you multiple choices of tours, you can have a tour from 2 hours minimum up to 30 days maximum. The means of transportation which I use during the tour depends mainly on the type of the tour and then the size of the group of traveler. Thus, we may use a ground transportation such as a small car for 1 or 2 people only , a train, a mini-van, vehicle 4x4, a big van which can be fit to carry a group of traveler up to 10 people, motorized boat or rowing boat and a plane. I encourage you to view my published tour offer and to contact me if you have any questions or if you require a customized service. Every single question or request will be answered in less than 24 HOURS. I am always sincerely at your service. The last but not least, please keep the following word when you are in Madagascar: MORAMORA. This is the first Malagasy word I teach you. MORAMORA means Slowly in English, Lentement in French and Langsam in German. In Madagascar, everything goes MORAMORA, So when you take a tour with me, short or long duration, we will never be in a hurry. I look forward to being your local tour guide in Madagascar! Tourism Ministerium of Madagascar license n° 049/MCT/SG/DG/GUIDE LICENSE B since 2004. Recipient of 2005 (BID)Business Initiative Direction Award in Spanish. Founder of a Tour operator, organizer of boat trip in Tsiribihina river since 2004. I am very PASSIONATE and very KNOWLEDGEABLE about my wonderful country. I can only guide and accompany English and French speakers. I am against sexual tourism.

Overview of your Antananarivo tour

ln only two days, you will enjoy the wildlife experience with its particular fauna and flora in Madagascar. Thus, you will be able to see at least 6 species of lemurs, 10 species of chameleons, 5 species of nocturnal lizards or the leaf tail gecko and the famous rainforest, decorated by the traveler's palm tree or the Ravinala. Please kindly be aware that according to our new animal's welfare policy, it is not allowed to touch nor to disrupt the animal's natural behavior so we must keep a safe distance from the animals when we take photos of them during this safari.

Terrific tour. How can you not fall in love with the lemurs? Your guide also adds so much. John Claude was excellent. He was professional and quite engaging. He did the little things that add so much. For example, he chooses his guides for tours through the park as local guides are required there, rather than picking the local who is first in line. He chooses the overnight lodging which was far above our expectations. Just as important he shared some of the culture of Madagascar, learned from his years of experience. One additional compliment goes to his driver, who navigated the roads professionally and we felt safe throughout the entire trip.

We absolutely loved Jean Claude! He was the best, as were his drivers. We saw a lot of fabulous things but the driving in between, though necessary to see those things, was tough. We had long days on dirt or potholed roads. We would have liked to spend more time at the beach hotel in Morondava, which was really great, but got in late and left early, so didn't even see the beach. That is no reflection on Jean Claude. He can't do anything about that aspect of the tour. Though the Tsingy National Park was hard to reach, we really loved it. It's a must-see. Also loved the east side of Madagascar. Our island hotel, the boat rides and the large collection of lemurs we saw were beyond our expectations. That part of the tour was definitely our favorite.

Jean Claude was a fantastic guide! He set up excellent choices of places to see, great local guides, and a nice hotel to stay in. And he was a wealth of information about local customs!

Jean Claude is a masterful guide and a joy to spend time with. He personalized our holiday to Madagascar so that it was unique to our desires and interests, and he accommodated every special request or need we had, including arranging for each of our meals to be vegetarian. He taught us helpful Malagasy phrases and shared local history with us, and he kept us laughing when road delays slowed our journey. The itinerary was perfectly crafted and we'd recommend him to anyone looking for a guide in Madagascar
