I am not a driver, we will take a driver with us. National Parks and Private Reserves have their own local guides, we have to take them obligatory.

Two different customers have written about this Tour : I can't imagine a better way to utilize a day in Tana (Antananarivo) than by allowing my guide Ravo to walk with me through the town he has known and loved for many years. I wasn't interested in animals. I wanted to learn the culture. We saw markets and vistas, ate at a Malagasy restaurant . . . could not have been better constructed. Don't wander around like a tourist . . . get this Tour to teach you all about his Tana ! My guide Ravo did a terrific job tailoring an enjoyable City Tour to my personal interests. His knowledge of Madagascar history is excellent, and he gave me a great opportunity to experience the 'life of a local' through traditional food, interesting backstreets markets and typical architecture. Highly recommended ! So pleased to guide you and to show you my town with great pleasure, to create very good memories for you, memories that is never to be forgotten.
We had a very nice day with Ravo. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Given the recent unrest he was very careful and cognizant of our safety. We saw all the main sites including some terrific overlooks. A great opportunity to see the real Tana. Would recommend highly
I spent a lovely day with Ravo in Tana. We walked &walked and walked. We took public buses & even a taxi. Ravo first met me to go over what I wanted to see see & do when I was in Tana & then he delivered everything on my list. I wanted to see the city and purchase some fabric and vanilla beans. The last stop he suggested to me was Lisi Art Gallery and it was amazing. They had the best quality crafts that we saw the whole day. The views at the top of Tana were lovely too & were worth the walk.
There are so many things I want to say about Ravo and the excellent tour he provided me. The first thing he said to me is that he had a lot of things he wanted to show me about his city, but wanted to know if there "was anything I wanted to focus on". I responded that I wanted to visit a mosque in the city and a half hour into the tour he led me to one! His English is impeccable, but more than that, his demeanour is unmatched. I give him the highest rating possible.
I could not have seen the Madagascar people, culture and country without Ravo. Provide more history and knowledge that I could imagine. He knows his people and country. He we above and beyond every expectation and made sure that the tour was customized to my interests as we went. I went during the Covid 19 period in Dec and he was able to work to get my PCR test for my return home and left me at the airport with smiles. I highly recommend. A lifetime experience!!!!!
